Fall is the perfect time to switch up your fragrance wardrobe, and this autumn season, I’ve curated a list of 15 incredible perfumes that I personally own and have had people wave me down on the streets. Whether you’re looking for a signature scent for cooler weather or something spicy for those sweater weather vibes. Now, when I think about fall, I think tonka bean, vanilla, spicy notes, apple pie, boozy cherry, and yes, even floral fragrances. This list includes them all – best fall perfumes in my very humble personal opinion.
And before I start, I want to mention that I like my perfumes rather strong. For example, while I love most of the Parfums de Marly ones, they’re a little bit too weak for my taste. So, these perfumes are guaranteed to last on you at least for the whole evening without needing any touch-ups. And let me tell you, I have strict criteria for purchasing any perfume – it needs to have a unique scent that I have truly not smelled anywhere before. Now while some of the perfumes on this list are just that, there’s also more popular fragrances – crowd-pleasers if you will. So to identify the unique ones, I’ll add a ⭐.
1. Lataffa Khamrah
When you think of comforting scents, this TikTok favorite is straight up apple pie! It embodies the perfect tonka bean-forward spicy perfume that wraps you in warmth. It’s hailed as the affordable alternative to Kilian’s Angels Share, which I’m a big fan of but find the performance (longevity and projection) pretty poor. Now, Khamrah on the other hand, is beast mode. You can literally smell it on your clothes days after.
Its top notes are a delicious blend of apple pie sweetness with a touch of vanilla bourbon, making it an ideal choice for the fall season. As the fragrance settles, the base notes of amber and brown sugar create a cozy, addictive finish. Perfect for cooler months and special occasions. It really is the best fall perfume!

2. Lancôme Idôle Nectar
This sweet floral is the one that has gotten me (almost) the most compliments, especially from Uber drivers, asking me what I’m wearing so that they can get it for their wives. To me, it smells like warm caramel and roses on steroids. It’s very vibrant, feminine and sexy but in a cozy floral type of way. Lancome Idole Nectar serves roses, vanilla and caramel. It’s the perfect summer to fall transition fragrance, totally wearable during the day but also to a date night. It’s extremely long lasting and has a strong projection, but definitely not offensive.

3. Nue Co Functional Fragrance
Stress relief meets scent with Nue Co Functiona Fragrance, a calming choice for everyday wear. The label claims it also helps relieve stress, triggering safe and cozy neurological responses. Personally, I do use it for this purpose and have found that it does relax me, maybe it’s placebo, but hey, as long as it works.
It smells almost identical to Le Labos cult perfume – Santal 33 – but a little bit sweeter and less herbal, which to me is a massive upgrade. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a very aromatic and herbal scent with key notes including cilantro and a heavy touch of cardamom. I find the combination of these notes to be both grounding and energizing. Making it the perfect autumn fragrance for those hectic days when you need a mental reset or relief for seasonal depression – nordic girlies get it.

4. Tom Ford Lost Cherry
I am generally not a big fan of Tom Ford perfumes. I find them extremely over priced for the quality of perfume that they are. However, when it comes to boozy cherry scents, I have failed to find a better blend, that doesn’t smell synthetic, than Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry. Think juicy black cherries dropped into a glass (the sexy low ball one) of bourbon and topped with a Madagascan vanilla stick. It’s definitely a very flirty fragrance – great choice for a special occasion, or a date night.
The top notes of black cherry and almond give an elegant opening, while spicy notes of tonka bean and cinnamon give it that warm, cozy finish, ideal for cooler weather. If you want a signature scent that will make everyone ask what are you wearing—this is the right perfume.

5. Dior J’adore Parfum d’Eau
Now you might think floral is only for summer but this one to me is all about crispy colder weather kind of softer floral notes. Just perfect for those first autumn days, Dior J’adore d’eau is a ceamier alcohol-free flanker of the classic J’adore. Yet, the elegance it holds, gives the original version a run for its money. It’s like walking through a flower garden holding a bouquet of jasmine, magnolia and roses. The longevity is not super amazing, meaning it’s good for a few hours without a top up, but it’s extremely feminine and pretty, and thus worth the sacrifice.

6. House of Oud Get the Feeling ⭐
Get the Feeling is a special one and sooo underrated and unknown. I have never met (or smelled, for that matter) anyone wearing this one. Yet, it’s by far (one of) my personal favorite perfume! It’s the “it girl” perfume – mysterious, leaning masculine and giving “she’s confident”. The scent is an exotic blend of soft spicy scents and rich aromatic citrus blended with fresh acquatic notes. It’s one of the perfumes I really want to gatekeep forever. Oh, and talking about compliments, I was recently told that I smelled like a richArabic sheikh – now that is a solid compliment. The projection and performance are top notch with this one as well.

7. L’occitane Ambre Amande (Amber Almond)
Back to the topic of boozy almond scents. This was initially an impulse buy I made while walking down the Champs-Élysées in Paris and popping into the L’Occitane x Pierre Hermes shop to stock up on some hand creams. I stumbled across Amber Almond and there was no way I was going to leave it there. Let me tell you, it was a good idea and this perfume has grown on me even more with time! It’s one of the coziest and most intriguing fragrances that just smells so expensive. The comforting amber scent makes you feel like you’re wrapping yourself in a warm blanket. It’s definitely a gourmand perfume – featuring a heavy dose of almond, spices and saffron. A delicious fragrance with a hint of mysterious smokiness that pairs perfectly with the fall season. Ideal for everyday wear and cozy nights in. The performance is a solid 7/10.

8. Vilhelm Parfumerie Purple Fig ⭐
The word on the streets is that fig perfumes are the next big trend in perfumery. Now, usually I’m not the biggest fan of fig scents but Purple Fig is just so unusual and special smelling. It’s young and sophisticated – not too heavy on straight up figs, but rather sweet and fruity. It’s one of those perfect autumn perfumes with just enough spicy notes and rich woody undertones that make it perfect for cooler weather. But I wouldn’t recommend it as a blind buy, it’s definitely more niche. If you get it, you get it. The performance of this one is everlasting.

9. Gucci Flora Gorgeous Magnolia
Gorgeous Magnolia just screams cold weather to me! I have tried to wear it during the summer as well, but it’s just not the same. I imagine this scent to be the smell of those ice flowers on a glass in the winter. If you’re looking for a floral lovers’ dream, Gucci Flora Gorgeous Magnolia is the perfect choice. It opens with juicy red berries and sweet fruity notes, while the notes of jasmine and magnolia create a long-lasting, uplifting floral scent perfect for autumn vibes. I refuse to leave the house from September onwards without this one! Now when it comes to longevity and sillage, it’s moderate in both. You’d definitely need a touch-up after a few hours of wear or so.

10. Phlur Not Your Baby ⭐
Phlur Not Your Baby is for those who want a playful yet sophisticated fragrance. It was another impulse buy while I was in New York and went to Sephora specifically to try Missing person (which, I don’t know if it’s just my nose, I can not smell anything for the life of me), but found this beautiful powdery vanilla perfume instead.
With key notes of vanilla orchid, black pepper, and brown sugar, this spicy perfume is perfect for cooler months. It’s a perfect scent to wear during both daytime activities and special evenings out.

11. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 (extrait)
As much as I wanted to leave this one out, because I find it’s way too overhyped by now, it’s an absolute magnet for compliments. No other perfume comes close to the amout of times I’ve been stopped on the streets, restaurants, airports, you name it, than with BR540 extrait – you are guaranteed to turn headsr. This scent is pure strawberries, birch tree and burnt sugar to me. Somehow it smells super clean and soft, yet it projects like a beast. It’s a complex and mysterious scent, perfect for cooler sweater weather and definitely one of the most elegant and sophisticated fragrances out there. That’s why it has solidified its place as one of the best fall perfumes in the fragrance world.

12. Giardini Di Toscana Bianco Latte
You are a snack when you’re wearing this one! A real ooey gooey buttery birthday cake cookie with a glass of milk and not another note more, just that. Giardini Di Toscana Bianco Latte is one of the cutest perfumes I have ever smelled, It’s just so adorable and pure. It’s creamy and oh so so sweet, with notes of milk, tonka bean, and vanilla, making it the ideal choice for a comforting fall fragrance wardrobe addition. This scent feels like it’s raining outside on a chilly autumn day, but you’re indoors with your softest warm socks on sitting by the chimney and sipping on a (white) chocolate milk. It’s one of the best pure vanilla scents out there in my opinion! The performance is absolutely insane, 10/10, you’ll smell it for weeks!

13. Fragonard Diamant ⭐
This is such a beautiful scent. Very elegant, very demure. Fragonard Diamant is a euphoric rich floral, fruity perfume with delicious black plum and black pepper notes, yet it dries down to a musky vanilla with caramel. It’s definitely an evening perfume rather than a day-time wear. Not only have I gotten a gazillion compliments but quite a few of my friends have actually made the purchase. It’s ideal for cooler months and makes for a signature scent that’s both unique and attention-grabbing.

14. Maison Crivelli Tubéreuse Astrale ⭐
Tubéreuse Astrale Maison Crivelli is the newest one in my collection, but boy has it earned its place as a favorite perfume already! It’s sexy, it’s sophisticated, it’s modern and will make you feel oh so desireable. I have been wearing this almost every day for the past few months and let me tell you, a little goes a long way! It’s extremely full-bodied and rich – the projection is absolute beast mode! You will smell it for weeks, if not months. The unique notes of this perfume make it a top contender for those looking to try a new signature scent this year (although, it might be a bit difficult to get your hands on one).

15. L’Occitane Melilot ⭐
Last but not least, Melilot. Like Bianco Latte, it’s a very cute scent. It’s a calming and refreshing choice, with a great balance of nutty, woody but fresh, fruity and aromatic notes. It’s a very gentle and soft perfume, great for any occasion and time of the day. It’s perfect for adding a unique touch to your autumn vibes.
